We have lots of exciting competitions and events coming up between now and the New Year. If you would like to sign up for any of these or need any further information, please speak to a member of staff in the Pro Shop.
AGM
Firstly, for your calendar, before we can get into the festive spirit, is our AGM, being held in Charlie’s Café on Thursday the 27th November, 7pm. All members should have received the agenda for this meeting. We hope to see you there.
Club Competitions
Just to confirm, our monthly mid-week competitions have been cancelled, however below you will find the dates for all of our upcoming club competitions until the end of the year.
8th – 10th November – Rolling Stableford
22nd – 24th November – Rolling Stableford
29th November – 1st December – Rolling Stableford
6th – 8th December – Rolling Stableford
13th – 15th December – Rolling Stableford
27th – 29th December – Rolling Stableford
In addition to our weekend competitions, our Winter Eclectic has started, as of the 1st of November and is running until the 31st of March 2026. All Winter Eclectics will be over the back 9 with players able to enter up to 8 cards per competition. It is not too late to sign up at the desk.
Ladies and Ambassadors Christmas Scramble
Our annual Ladies and Ambassadors Christmas Scramble will be played on Monday the 1st of December. This event will be a shotgun start over the back 9, followed by mince pies and hot drinks in Charlie’s Café. Feel free to arrive early to purchase raffle tickets beforehand as these will be sold to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society, with some great prizes to be won!
Sign up at the golf desk for only £9 by Friday 21st November to join in with the festive celebration.
Don’t forget to wear your Christmas Jumpers!
Bingo Night
Save the date, as Charlie’s are excited to be hosting a festive Bingo Night on Friday 12th of December. With a succulent Roast Beef Dinner being served for 6:30pm and eyes down for the Bingo at 7pm, the bar opening late, some great company and some amazing prizes to be won, all for only £20 per person, what are you waiting for?! Sign-up and pay in Charlie’s by Wednesday 3rd December to secure your space at a great event!
Club Xmas Lunch
We have already received a great response for the Club Christmas Lunch, which is being held in Charlie’s Café on Friday the 5th of December at 1pm. We would like to remind you that all Members are invited with partners and guests welcome too. It would be wonderful to see as many of you there that can make it, to celebrate another fantastic year for the club in true festive style!
A pre-order for this lunch will be required along with full payment by Wednesday 26th November with the golf staff at the desk and we ask you please inform us of any Allergens when pre-ordering. Please see the delicious menu attached.
Charlie’s Christmas Menu is slightly different to the attached. Their Christmas Menu is available for small group bookings from now until the New Year, and this menu can be found in Charlie’s Café. Perfect for celebrating with family, work colleagues or friends this festive season!
Xmas Opening Hours
Please make a note of our open hours this year between Christmas and the New Year:
Wednesday 24th December 2025– Thursday 1st Jan 2026 we will be open 8am- 4pm daily except for Thursday the 25th December (Christmas Day) we will be CLOSED.
