Temporary smoking ban

Dear Member,

 

In the light of the recent weather and the very dry conditions out on the golf course, we have taken the decision to temporarily ban smoking on the golf course. This decision has not been made lightly however to protect the golf course, we are putting this rule in place with immediate effect.

Should we allow smoking to continue, and a cigarette butt ignites the grass, the consequences could be devastating. Anyone who is seen smoking out on the golf course will be asked to leave.

We hope you understand and support this decision. We will be in touch once the circumstances change.
